LoofCo Coconut Husk Washing-Up Scraper
A natural washing-up scraper made from the husk of a coconut, plastic-free, 100% natural and compostable. This is a great eco-swap for your sustainable kitchen.
The LoofCo Washing-Up Scraper is a natural scraper hand carved from the outer husk of a coconut. The scraper measures 11cm x 7cm and has a string so it can be hung up to dry when not in use. They are hand carved in Sri Lanka, where the farmers and workers are paid fairly. This eco-friendly natural coconut scraper is pretty cool really. When it starts to fray at the edges, you simply trim it back to a solid edge, giving it lots of life before it can eventually be composted.

To Use: Rinse thoroughly before first use. Immerse in warm water and use with washing-up liquid or LoofCo Washing-Up Soap. Soak baked-on food first. Use the Scraper to lift off food residue. The curved blade-like edge at the front, the robust corners at the back, and the fibrous coir fibres underneath easily tackle dirty pans. After use, rinse and hang up to dry from the string loop. If the bristle-like edge of the Washing-Up Scraper starts to fray, trim it with scissors back to a solid edge.
